By Gordon Gatiss Science is a product of conjecture about reality and its purpose is to rigorously disprove any hypothesise it comes up with. As science investigates it strips away the beliefs and gets to the core with hard and fast sustainable and testable ideas that stand-up to rigorous and provable criteria. It knows that 90% of the new knowledge it postulates today is going to be built upon and amended or disproved within the next few years; and that is the way it ought to be for knowledge is a journey not a destination. Knowledge is a means of growth. As long as we choose our future based on what we know we will always get what we know. Through rigorous examination and repeatable tests we can now, thanks to scientific processes, begin the journey to discover, who we are and how we create consciousness, and our paradigm of the world. Where does consciousness come from and what is it? Here is some science stuff. What can not be refuted is that we are made from atoms. Now an atom has a nucleus around which orbit electrons. The space between the nucleus and the electron is a vacuum; or at least our current technology can not detect anything. This provides the calculation that an atom is 99.99% vacuum. Which means that we are 99.99% vacuum. (Plimmer & King, 2004) Now our atoms make up our cells of which there are probably over 50 trillion cells in the human body. (Lipton, 2005) Except for the cells in your brain which scientist now believe can be replaced under the right conditions, 50,000,000 of the cells in your body will have died and been replaced with others, all while you have been reading this last sentence. Every cell, except the red blood cell, has a nucleus and D.N.A. and it is the manipulation of the cell that creates the feelings and moods that we experience. The hypothalamus in the brain is the source of the changes. Consider the hypothalamus to be a small factory buried inside your brain, and in the factory is assembled certain chemicals that match all the emotions that you experience. These chemicals are called peptides, (or neuropeptides); these are small chain amino acid sequences. (Pert 1997) The hypothalamus role is to control the body functions like heart rate, blood pressure, stress hormones, sex hormones and so forth. It regulates your immune system and the key elements of the autonomic nervous system. It does this by responding to your thoughts by manufacturing a specific peptide to correlate to the emotion that you attach to your thought so that your body functions can feel what you instruct it to feel through your thought process. So there is a peptide chemical chain for anger, sadness, victimisation, lust and all the other emotions you generate with your thoughts; there is a chemical equivalent for every emotional state that we experience. The moment we have a thought which triggers an emotion the hypothalamus will immediately assemble the appropriate peptide and release it into the blood stream. The moment it gets into the bloodstream it then finds its way to the different centres, different parts of our body, (i.e. autonomic nervous system and immune system) and each peptide seeks out a cell. Now each cell can have over 1,000 receptor sites; these are like a spike on the cell. The peptides seek out and find cell receptors that it can link to, and they then attach to the cell, and lock on to the cell sending a signal into the cell, this changes the structure of the cell and the cell responds with a feeling (a chemical reaction) which emulates the emotion from your thought. We are a chemical entity and we respond to chemical stimulus. That is how we work; this is how our bodies are wired. The stimulus is propagated by an external feedback which can be generated by what we eat, drink; the substances we put into our bodies, and or it can be motivated by pure thought; you are that powerful. For those who are trapped in a spiral of stress, anxiety, depression, or negative habits then the solution is to undergo a process to develop a new way to be. Learning is making new connections in the hypothalamus and manufacturing new peptide chains with new feelings; remembering and living in the past is maintaining the old connections and therefore if you do not change what you have got you will continue to get what you already have. Sounds easy? The problem comes when you become immersed in the feelings of certain experiences because those experiences become the means of your thinking. When that happens, you are only living from the past because by definition a feeling is associated with some past event. So if we determine our future based on feelings then we are trying to create a future situation from a past situation. Therefore by recreating the future based on the past we tend to recreate more of what we already have; it can go by a different name, but it is the same. If you are wired into victimisation, insecurity, suffering or any other addiction then your feelings become your measure of reality. Your future thinking becomes based on how you are wired and therefore you will recreate your addiction in your life because it is the only thing you know. Addiction! Yes addiction. My definition of addiction is something that you can not give up; and you can not give something up if you do not know how. In order to create a new future you have to leave feelings of the past behind. You have to learn to abandon the way in which feelings are your means of thinking, and when you are able to do that you will break the association in the neurological network that are attached to that thinking and those feelings. Then you will be able to focus on your dreams that you have no experience of because you have no emotions to associate to them. Your experiences colour what you know, so it is difficult to objectively appraise anything because our appraisal of everything has to do with our previous experiences and emotions. Every experience has an emotional weighting attached. By generating negative feelings in the body through negative thoughts (i.e. victimisation, depression) you record this feeling in the cells of your body through release of peptides made by the hypothalamus. Your body does not have judgement and does not recognise right from wrong, your body responds to external stimulus it receives, the external environment; this can be through your mouth, your skin, the air you breathe and or through your thoughts; it can be through the people you associate with, parents, teachers, friends; it can be through the media or anything external to your body. If you reinforce this stimulus your body accepts that it needs it and will send messages to the brain to continue sending the chemical agent to enable it to continue feeling whatever it is feeling. For example you may feel infatuated or in love with a particular person, this situation will generate a peptide in your hypothalamus to equate to the feeling, and it will enable your body to experience that feeling every time you invoke a thought relative to the person or an external event triggers the feeling, like you see the person or read about the person. The brain will instigate memory which will regurgitate a thought which will activate an emotion which will then authorise the hypothalamus to make the appropriate peptide which it will do, and then the brain will release the peptide automatically into the body reinforcing your instructions. We are a chemical entity and work through messages and signals sent via a chemical network. You are not controlled or protected by God, you are responsible for you. Why does your brain respond to your thoughts; because your brain does not know the difference between what it sees and what it remembers? (The same areas of the brain light up and respond when you see something and when you think you see something. Consequently your brain will react in the same way and try and give the body what it wants. The cells in your body are sustained by a constant feeding of chemicals from the brain. (DVD - What the Bleep? Down the Rabbit Hole, 2006) Your mind creates your body and it all starts in the cell. What is a cell? Well each eukaryote (a cell containing a nucleus) possess the functional equivalent of the bodies nervous system, digestive system, respiratory system, excretory system, endocrine system, muscle and skeletal systems, circulatory system, integument (skin), reproductive system and an immune system. Remember you have approximately 50 trillion cells in your body with this awesome power, minus the red blood cells which do not. Who gives the cell the orders? The Neuronet is based on experiences that have been filed in the subconscious memory by connecting them to emotions which have generated their own peptides in the hypothalamus. To change your body image you have to change your Neuronet; this will change your attitude and the way you interact with the environment. If you partake in alcohol or drugs or poor eating habits then your own ability to make you own internal endorphins declines and the receptors on your cells start to become sub-sensitive. By continually repeating the stimulus to your cells with your current life-style choices and the same attitude (peptides) time and time again, when the cells divide, that is when it produces a daughter cell and the old cell dies, that daughter cell will have more receptor sites for those particular emotional neuropeptides and less receptor sites for vitamins, nutrients and fluid exchange or release of waste products or toxins. If your cells can not function at a healthy level by disposing of toxins or taking on vitamins, then disease will be the outcome. Another consequent of abusing our cells is that cells that do not operate well contribute to aging. We actually make a peptide called sadness which mixes with the normal peptide protein amino acid chain and that becomes a cheaper grade of protein, a weaker protein. This protein is used by our cells, and as cells reproduce identical copies of themselves then die, it is natural that this cycle of cell replacement will lead to weaker and weaker cells. The human body ages because the proteins that we produced when we were young are now a cheaper grade of protein as we get older and take on more negative thoughts, poor eating habits and abuse our bodies with substances like drugs and alcohol. This degrading of our cells is a product of our own personal attitude. Genetics do not cause disease it is the environment that stimulates the genetics that cause disease. So if we change our attitudes we will change the effects neurochemically which means we would change our effects biologically, which means that we would change the effects of the receptor sites on our cells, which means we would change the response from the D.N.A. within the cells, which means we would change the make up of the protein chain which means we would change the health of the physical body, which means we would change our life. So our attitude has an affect on the cellular level of the body. To change means a chemical change, a chemical withdrawal and that is why many of us find it hard to change because the body produces a chemical need in us which is past driven and future inhibiting. Unless you are truly enlightened you have a chemical addiction and it depends how strong or negative that addiction is, as to your attitude and health. Why Is Fat Loss So Frustrating?

Tuesday, October 30th, 2007

By Jed Baguio Fat for most women and a sizeable percentage of men are unsightly. Some claimed that having fatty bulges in the body is a sign of poor health and discipline. Vanity commands us to eliminate the flab in the body and promote drastic weight loss. The stigma attach to this if probably brought by numerous pharmacological companies, beauty product manufacturers, spas and health clinics to sell their products that often do not come out cheap. Physicians who are actually in the lookout for signs of illness do not actually endorse the so-called fast-acting weight and fat loss products knowing that there is no real alternative to such that a recommended healthy and nutritious diet, exercise and discipline that totally is tantamount to a healthy lifestyle. Unrealistic diet and exercise routines do not altogether gives out the desired effect internally as its unrealism tends to overwhelm the bodily system that may produce adverse effects. Every individual who is in need of weight loss devote themselves to complex, dangerous, unrealistic diet and exercise routines that do not work some did not worked very well and left them with more weight to lose in the end. The many fad diets claiming to quickly and effortlessly remove excess fat has continually given negative results to many and has left men and women utterly disappointed. Diet on the other hand requires discipline and control in order to attain ones specific goal. For those who have so much weight and fatty deposits to lose, often none worked out very well and one is left out with experimenting different strategies without necessarily getting the desired effect. When the diet is stopped, the body goes back to its previous state to compensate for the loss that was compromised during the experimentation process. Books and magazines on the other hand while promoting extensive therapy, weight management and fat loss techniques and protocols often contain myths that do not actually work. Other regimen are either quite impossible to religiously follow. Other products like creams, lotions, sprays, massagers could probably work off a few inches but realistically, any regimen, topical or oral, manual or mechanical have their own claims to the success of weight loss, yet none could probably work out better than ones diligence to follow a certain discipline of exercise to slowly and properly eliminate that unwanted flab in the body and the psychological acceptance of the importance of fats in the human anatomy…CONTINUE If You’re Looking For A NO B.S., NO Holds Barred and NO Hype Weight Loss Newsletter That Really Works… click here: http://www.myweightlossnewsletter.com/ Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Jed_Baguio http://EzineArticles.com/?Why-Is-Fat-Loss-So-Frustrating?&id=382839 buying online carisoprodol help with the prescription drug soma ordering soma online soma carisoprodol online 120ct

2007 Trends in the Human Animal Debate and the Death of Religion

Monday, October 29th, 2007

By Lance Winslow Scientifically speaking mankind belongs to the animal kingdom, however many religions see humans as above the animals. In fact they see humans as a special species created by God. It is often this religious connotation, which causes conflict with science and makes it difficult to study other animals in the animal kingdom. This egocentric viewpoint that humans have often makes it difficult for them to understand that animals have similar emotions, desires and thought processes as human beings. In fact science has shown we are much more similar to other higher order mammals than ever previously thought. Debating these truths with any hard-core religious person with a stubborn personal belief system may indeed be a waste of breath. Nevertheless, the truth needs to be told for human scientists to realize what it means to be human and the similarities between our chimpanzee cousins and our pets. Denial of observation and scientific discovery that humans are very much like animals is unfortunate because it places restrictions and borders on our reasoning and thinking. Indeed it is obvious that humans do possess larger brains and more intellectual capacity, yet much of the rest of the functions of the brain including the behavior, needs and desires are very similar. I hope you will enjoy this thought-provoking discussion, overwhelming evidence and proof positive that humans are indeed animals. This concept may shake the core of your existence and belief system or you may simply be unwilling to take an honest luck at the case studies, observations and research. Either way whether you agree or disagree this debate needs to be brought forth into the open. Overcome Jealousy

Sunday, October 28th, 2007

By Rich MacKenzie Overcoming Jealousy is one thing that all sufferers want to achieve. Jealousy is one of the cruellest behaviours that someone can conflict on themselves and their friends and family around them. If you suffer from jealousy at the moment you will understand exactly what I mean and just how devastating it can be to yourself and your relationships with people that you love. Each and every year in my Hypnotherapy clinic here in Oxfordshire I treat hundreds of individuals and couples that have suffered at the hands of jealousy for years. By the time that they come and see me the jealousy has certainly taken its toll on everything that they love and care about. It is amazing that something that starts off in our imagination can soon spark out of control and cause such devastating damage. Jealousy can be caused by many things; however it nearly always sparks from some type of insecurity. I have worked with many individuals where their jealousy started because of their partner having an affair. I have also treated individuals that put the whole thing down to being bullied at school or a parent leaving when they were young. Whatever the reason if jealousy is not dealt with then it will grow and cause major problems within current and future relationships. With clients that want my help in overcoming jealousy I use Hypnotherapy and Emotional Freedom Technique. Both therapies are very successful in treating jealousy. The Emotional Freedom Technique can work fast to alleviate all of the negative emotions associated with jealousy, while the Hypnotherapy can help them to rebuild their lives. If used over only a short period of time, Hypnotherapy and Emotional Freedom technique can help you to completely overcome your jealousy and to move on in your life. Just imagine being able to do all of the things that make you happy instead of having all of those negative thoughts and emotions running around inside your head. Imagine not having to obsess and worry over every little thing. So if jealousy is a problem for you and you would love to get rid of it and move on, then these treatments could be right for you. When picking a practitioner, make sure that they are fully qualified and insured, either contact a local Hypnotherapy or Emotional Freedom Technique organisation to get more information and to find a practitioner that is local to you. Richard MacKenzie is a leader in the field of Self Hypnosis. He is also the author of a book on Self Hypnosis called Self-Change Hypnosis. Marketing Rant - An Order Taker Is NOT A Salesperson

Friday, October 26th, 2007

By Cynthia Pinsonnault Back in the Day In the olden days, when I was a kid, stores hired people to help customers. They actually listened and tried to help. They would find items for you and help you figure out what was good or bad about products and give you ideas about using new things in new ways. These people were called salespeople. Now I know that’s confusing because a lot of stores today call the teenager behind the counter (preoccupied with texting his friends) a salesperson — if he can manage to push the right icon on the cash register and process your credit card, that is today’s qualification for salesperson of the month. Sometimes he’ll even point to the part of the store where you might find what you’re looking for. The idea is that salespeople cost the store too much and that customers don’t like being sold. That’s kinda true. People don’t like being “sold.” And businesses lose money when customers are unhappy or sold things they don’t really want. A “salesperson” who tries to force something on you is probably worse then trekking through stores or doing your own research. But a “real” salesperson should be an asset to any kind of business. A real salesperson is an aide to the process of purchasing. His job is as much to help the customer find a solution and make a decision as it is to help his company sell a product. Sure he wants to make the sale. But a good salesperson brings the right product to the right prospect and then facilitates a merger of the two. The reasons people don’t buy DO NOT include: It costs too much It’s the wrong time of year I already have something that does that Interest rates are too high The REAL reasons people don’t buy DO include: I don’t see how it solves my problem I don’t understand why I need it I don’t understand why it costs so much I don’t know what I can do with it The Order Taker The order taker might be able to tell you how much something costs, or how long it will take to deliver it — if you can find her, get her off the cell phone and get her attention. But order takers shrug their shoulders to the first set of false reasons. And they don’t have answers or the willingness to find the answers to the second set of real reasons. They might be polite and helpful, or maybe not. But with an order taker, you’re on your own. Find it yourself. Figure it out yourself. I’ll be with you when my break is over. The Salesperson The salesperson — I mean the real salesperson — addresses the real reasons, helping buyers make a decision, and in doing so, eliminates the need to pressure or “sell” or deceive or trick people into buying. It is the order taker disguised as a salesperson that has given salespeople a bad rep. A good salesperson offers as much benefit to the buyer as he does to the seller. Natural Healing for Psoriasis

Thursday, October 25th, 2007

By Monica Villarreal There are numerous types of psoriasis being the most common plaque psoriasis or Psoriasis Vulgaris that is characterized by red scaly patches of skin that are often covered by silver scales. These patches are extremely painful and they may bleed. Approximately eighty five percent of people suffering with this condition have this type of psoriasis, which can affect the knees, elbows, chest and lower back, as well as the nails and scalp. Other types of this condition include: Guttate psoriasis. This affects ten percent of sufferers and the drop-like shapes of scales can cover large patches of the upper torso and may spread to the arms, legs and scalp. Pustural psoriasis. This is a rare form of psoriasis that usually attacks the hands and the feet and is characterized by pus-filled pimples. The causes and symptoms of this type of psoriasis differ; it can be caused by the cessation of prescription drugs or as a result of an infection or sunburn. Lithium, a drug used to treat bipolar disorder, as well as certain beta-blockers used to treat high blood pressure, can cause a flare up. Inverse psoriasis. This is characterized by dry red patches in the folds of the skin and is more common in people who are overweight. Erythrodermic psoriasis. This type of psoriasis can be extremely serious because it covers a large area of the body, and in some cases, all of it. When the skin becomes inflamed it creates an increase in blood flow which in turn speeds up the heart rate. Since the inflamed skin covers such a wide area the additional strain on the heart is a cause for concern. Treating Psoriasis with Traditional Methods The main goal of traditional psoriasis treatments is to decelerate the growth rate of skin cells and control the condition for long periods of time; it is the fast growth rate of skin cells that is responsible for the red and scaly psoriasis patches. Traditional treatments include: Topical Treatments - For a person with mild to moderate psoriasis, a topical approach is the preferred treatment to start with when choosing from the various available psoriasis treatments. There are many different strengths in these topicals and the level prescribed will be in accordance with individual needs and responsiveness. Systemic Medications - These medications are reserved for people who suffer with moderate to severe psoriasis and dont respond well to topical medications. These work by suppressing the immune system and reducing inflammation and the rapid growth of cells. Unfortunately, many people experience side effects and discomfort with these medicines. Phototherapy - Involves exposing the skin to an artificial ultraviolet light source. UVB radiation goes into the skin and slows down the fast growth of skin cells associated with the condition, resulting in clear skin. Studies indicate that the continued use of this treatment may help prolong remission time. However, irritation and sunburn may appear as side effects of UVB treatment and, even though there is no evidence of increased risk of skin cancer from this type of treatment, its important to remember that UVB is a well-known carcinogen in humans. Natural Healing for Psoriasis There are some tissue salts and herbs that are considered to be natural cures for psoriasis and are used in the treatment of this condition by addressing internal and external symptoms. Natrium Muriaticum 6C and Kalium Sulphate 6C are among the salts that are widely recognized for the effective treatment of psoriasis because they: * help hydrate the skin * reduce inflammation * keep cell membranes healthy * reduce the symptoms of scaly skin * assist in the healing and elimination of dead or infected cells On the other hand, there are herbs that offer outstanding blood cleansing and anti-inflammatory properties, and which are very valuable in the natural treatment of psoriasis. Europe Shrinks from Health-Religion Research

Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

By Kevin Ferguson Europes greatest continental divide the chasm between scientific research and theology has begun to close, as scores of university institutes and medical associations from Arkhangelsk to Zurich are gathering to see how the two fields might help each other. The movement, though, is at a glacial pace, as an increasingly secular Western Europe and a post-communist Eastern Europe continue to resist any efforts that smack of church and state collaboration. Croatias University of Zagreb Medical School is typical. Candid discussions concerning religion and medical science take place but never in a formal research environment, said Lucija Fabijanic, a medical student who recently graduated from the school. Some medical doctors do speak about this topic, but it is mainly not acknowledged by the university and hospital staff, said Fabijanic. From the medical point of view, I understand that after a long era of communism a lot of people still think that religion is something personal and that it has nothing to do with science and medicine. Similarly, in Swedens Karolinska Institutet, where 40 percent of the countrys medical academic research is conducted, religion and science are only rarely mentioned in the same breath. Of the 2,814 dissertations published since 1995, only half a dozen mention the words together, and only two a 2005 study on Islams perpetuation of female genital mutilation in Sudan, and a 2000 paper on mortality and injury rates in Northern and Western Europe look at religion with more than a passing glance. Across Europe, empirical research has been conducted primarily in the areas of mental health and ethnography. In both cases, though, the research has taken place in isolated institutional pockets and with little academic or media fanfare. Most European researchers, instead, host symposia, satisfied to conduct what is often among the first science-and-religion dialogues in their institution or country. In many instances, the discussions are funded by Metanexus Institutes Local Societies Initiatives, or LSI. Metanexus, in turn, is funded by the John Templeton Foundation, which also funds Science & Theology News. For example, Austrias Universitt Innsbruck, an LSI grant recipient, has formed a society called The Complementarity of Science and Theology within the prestigious Austrian Academy of Science. The society, chaired by renowned mathematical physicist Walter Thirring, aims to study the concept and meaning of life. But to date its been all talk and no research. The same holds true in former Soviet states. At Ukraines National University in Kharkiv, philosophy professor Ivan Tsekhmistro chairs a newly formed, and LSI-funded, East-Ukrainian Center of Science and Religion. Its charge, he said, is to eradicate communisms legacy of aggressive atheism in the public consciousness and in the sphere of interrelations between science and religion. And while Tsekhmistro has written extensively on the subject in June delivering his most recent paper, Scientific Picture of the Word in the Last 25 Years, at the Metanexus Institute in Philadelphia the university center offers no empirical research. Likewise, in 2002, Estonias University of Tartu founded the Collegium of Science and Religion to revive the tradition of science and faith dialogue that was forgotten during half a century of imposed atheism, according to its mission statement. The LSI-funded collegium has long-term plans to conduct empirical studies, but immediate plans only include seminars, colloquiums and college courses. Given the centuries-old struggle between science and religion to define European culture, the research torpor is understandable, said Harald Walach, editor of Swiss research journal, Forschende Komplementrmedizin und Klassische Naturheilkunde (Research in Complementary and Classical Natural Medicine). What has to be borne in mind historically is the fact that especially for Germany there are great fears of intellectuals and academics of the culture and the political stage being again hijacked by ideology, as happened during the Nazi regime, said Walach. Indeed, Adolph Hitler insisted to the very end that his actions were inspired by providence. Hence, the connotation of religion and any official institution, such as politics and academia, does not go down well in European culture, understandably so. That has certainly been true in the Netherlands, where academia often recoils from the authoritarian habits and influence of organized religion. This criticism prevented the approval ofefforts to study the subject scientifically, said Dr. Arjan Braam, a researcher at Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam. The criticism has softened noticeably in the Netherlands since the mid-1980s, thanks largely to the prolific Braams research. One of his oft-cited papers, published in 2004 in the Journal of Aging and Health, involves a six-year study of prayer and depressive symptoms in older Dutch adults. The study of 1,840 adults, aged 55 to 85, found that church attendance and religious inclinations eased the symptoms of depression. The interest on the subject of religion and health is increasing, but slowly, said Braam, who chaired a symposium on prayer and depressive symptoms, at the 13th World Congress of Psychiatry, held last September in Cairo, Egypt. Also in the Netherlands, the Catholic Study Centre for Mental Health, acts as a clearinghouse for scientists conducting primary and secondary research on mental health and religion. Although founded in 1972, the lions share of its work has been done in the past five years. As of 2005, the Catholic center counted more than 2,400 members and benefactors from mental and physical health care, spiritual and pastoral care, the churches, social services, and education, according to its Web site. Barriers are falling in Switzerland as well. For example, the University Hospital of Geneva recently investigated the importance of religion as a coping mechanism for psychiatric patients. The study found that clinicians dealing with psychotic patients might neglect religious issues, even if religion may constitute an important means of coping, said Sylvia Mohr, the hospital researcher who led the study. Half the clinicians perceptions of patients religious involvement were inaccurate, Mohrs team found, even though a majority of the patients reported that religion was an important aspect of their lives. Mohrs biggest surprise, though, came before she interviewed the first patient: Our research was welcomed, she said. Mohr had anticipated stiff resistance, particularly from clinicians. Instead, the hospital and its ethics committee gave the study their blessing, and only 3 percent of the patients declined to participate. From my experience, I think the most powerful resistance is in researchers minds, she said. And now that Mohr has overcome her resistance, what will it take to gain widespread European acceptance of such research? The only way to change this is good science, said Walach. Points to Ponder Before Applying for a Car Loan

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Robert_Parker]Robert Parker Have you got an eye on the new Vantage? Or do you want that sparkling new Jaguar parked in your driveway? Guess what all this is no longer a dream! You can drive your favourite set of wheels by availing car loans. Getting car loans is not a daunting task any more, but your goal should be to get the best rates on car loans. Here are a few tips to help you attain low rate car loans: Improve your credit score: Before you go out hunting for car loans, your first priority should be to find out your credit score. A good credit history will help you negotiate for a better deal on car loans. Conversely, you may have to bear the burden of high interest car loans. So make sure you pay your instalments regularly especially for a few months prior to availing car loans. Do your homework: Remember that the car loans market is very competitive and you being the buyer have innumerable choices in car loans. So you dont have to agree to the first offer that comes your way. Shop around for good deals in car loans in terms of interest rates, repayment terms and other fees. Internet is considered a viable medium to do all such shopping for car loans. By applying online you receive several quotes for car loans from several lenders, thus giving you more freedom to negotiate. Weigh your options: When shopping for car loans keep in mind that smaller the amount you borrow, lesser is the interest rate. So if you offer a good amount as down payment, it will prove favourable to you in the long run. Also, give due consideration to the different car loans options available to you. If trading-in your car is cheaper than negotiating with a car dealer, then go for it. If your reason for buying an automobile is to just get you from A to B, then why not go in for used car loans. This is especially helpful as unlike home that grows in equity, the value of a car always deprecates with passing time. There are a lot of lenders who will give you affordable deals on used car loans. What most people are unaware of is that you can even refinance your car loans. Like remortgaging, you can also trade-in your current car loans for new ones in favour of low interest rates or longer payment period. Shopping and negotiating will ensure that you get the best deal in car loans. Easy Steps To Making Your Own Perfume Kit and Saving Money

Saturday, October 20th, 2007

By Chris Ryerson People who often go to the department store will surely notice the various perfumes sold on the display shelf. It is not rocket science that enables various companies to do it. This simply requires the proper training and tools on hand to make this happen. The first to get is the perfume kit. This is available in stores and online that will cost about $30 to $40 a piece. People who find this expensive can make one buying the items separately. Perfumes are made of water, a little alcohol and essential oils. The person can go to the store and smell the scents to find out which ones are the best to get and then bring it home. Aside from the liquids, the individual will also need some medicine droppers and roller bottles to contain it. The last thing to complete the perfume kit is the bag. The person can use an old handbag or a small box to store everything, which is also easy to carry. This will allow the hobbyist to bring all the materials to class and learn the different types of perfumes that are worth making and saleable in the market. The individual will notice later on that some of the essential oils used in making perfumes are also the same ones being used for aromatherapy. In fact, lavender, which is both a top and a bridge note, is effective in treating anxiety and stress. In time, the person will be able to learn the different types of perfumes and how to make each one. There are different scents that other companies have not yet even thought about which will be great to experiment on. The individual must remember that each product must be stored in a cobalt blue or amber glass bottle because the contents will be damaged should these be exposed to sunlight. Those who feel ready to turn this thing into a business will need more than just a perfume kit. The individual will need more space to stock up on the essential oils and the other materials to make this in vast numbers. One way to check if the perfume is just right is to give samples to friends and family members. The comments these people give can provide insight on what areas to improve on before the entrepreneur decides either to sell this straight or supply this to someone else. Another way to make money if there is not enough capital yet will be to make homemade perfume kits and then sell these to someone else or online. Surely, it won’t cost that much to make as long as the person knows some cheap suppliers so enough profit can be made to eventually start selling the perfumes. The best way to start will be to give the homemade perfume kit to friends and family members as gifts. These people may also be interested in learning the secrets of perfume making or even partner up to start the businesses. Having a perfume kit could be the start of something big. It is up to the individual whether to make this happen or just do this as a hobby. After all, the person may not have the technology or the training in chemistry to compete in the big leagues.
